| | Day 2 Cross International Dateline | top |
| | Day 3 Chongqing (D) | top | Arrive into Chongqing in the late afternoon. Meet and greet by your local tour representative. Transfer to the hotel to check in. Enjoy some time to freshen up before tonight's welcome dinner.
| | Day 4 Chongqing - Dazu - Yangtze River Cruise (B / L) | top | Today's excursion takes you to the Dazu Rock Carvings, a series of Chinese religious sculptures and carvings, dating back as far as the 7th century A.D. Return to Chongqing city in the afternoon to board the deluxe Victoria Cruises to begin your journey along the mighty Yangtze River.
| | Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise (B / L / D) | top | Your shore excursion today is at Shibaozhai, one of the gems of Chinese architecture. From afar, the protruding 220-meter hill on the north bank can appear to resemble a jade seal, and is so named. A red pavilion hugs one side of this rock. Its tall yellow entrance gate is decorated with lions and dragons and etched with an inscription inviting the visitor to ascend into a "Little Fairyland."
| | Day 6 Yangtze River Cruise (B / L / D) | top | Sail through the Qutang Gorge. Your offshore excursion today is at Wushan, situated at the confluence of the Yangtze and the Daning rivers, just above the western entrance to the Wu Gorge. Wushan is the starting point for the popular boat trips through the Lesser Gorges on the Daning River.
| | Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise - Yichang - Shanghai (B / L / D) | top | Board a ferry for a relaxing boat trip up a tributary of the Yangtze, which has its own attractive gorges. You will dock very close to the head of the reservoir created by the Three Gorges Dam, and switch into smaller wooden boats called "pea-pod boats." You are then pulled up to the shallow, clear areas further upstream. Sail back to the waiting ferry to return to your Victoria Ship. Enjoy lunch before transferring to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel.
| | Day 8 Shanghai – Mt. Putuo (B / L / D) | top | Depart to the pier to board a ferry to Mt. Putuo, situated on Zhoushan Island. Mt. Putuo is regarded as one of the four sacred Buddhist mountain in China dedicated to Guayin, the Goddess of Mercy. The scenic ferry ride takes you through some of Zhejiang Province's majestic scenery, passing by some of the area's 400 small islands, which are really peaks of submerged mountains. Arrive at the island in the early afternoon. Enjoy lunch before visiting Puji Temple and Fayu Temple.
| | Day 9 Mt. Putuo – Shanghai (B / L / D) | top | Visit the Huiji Temple and Zizhulin Temple. Most notable at Zizhulin Temple is the white jade statue of Guanyin and the purple bamboo at the temple's garden. Board a return ferry to Shanghai in the early afternoon.
| | Day 10 Shanghai (B / L / D) | top | A morning visit to the famous Shanghai waterfront called the 'Bund.' Along the eastern side of the Huangpu river are colonial style buildings, remnants from Shanghai's colonization period. Across the river is the new, emerging skyline filled with skyscrapers, representing Shanghai's fast growth and development. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city at Yuyuan Garden located in the center of the Yuyuan Bazaar. The garden replicates the classical style of gardens similar to those found in Suzhou. The well trained performers at tonight’s Acrobatics Show will give you an unforgettable experience.
| | Day 11 Shanghai – Los Angeles (B) | top | The morning is free for you to do some last minute shopping. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
