| Day 1 Los Angeles – Chengdu | top | Depart on your transpacific flight to Chengdu.

| | Day 3 Chengdu (D) | top | Arrive into Chengdu in the early afternoon. After clearing customs and claiming your luggage, a Signature Travel & Tours Program Manager will be there to meet and greet you. Transfer to the hotel to check in. Enjoy some time to freshen up before tonight’s welcome dinner.
| | Day 4 Chengdu – Jiuzhaigou (B / L / D) | top | Transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Jiuzhaigou. The Jiuzhaigou Valley is considered one of the wonderlands on earth. The valley's name is said to from the existence of nine stockaded villages of Tibetan origin and was always regarded as a holy mountain and watercourse by the Tibetan people. Return to Jiuzhaigou town in the late afternoon. Tonight's entertainment features a Tibetan Folk Dance show.
| | Day 5 Jiuzhaigou (B / L / D) | top | The entire day is spent visiting the scenic spots of the Jiuzhaigou Valley. Jiuzhaigou Valley is filled with dreamlike scenery and is abundant in natural resources. It combines blue lakes, waterfalls, verdant forests, snow-covered mountains and the folk cutoms of the Tibetan and Qiang peoples.
| | Day 6 Jizhaigou – Huanglong (B / L / D) | top | Depart for the scenic area of Huanglong, renowned for its colorful lakes, snow clad mountains, and verdant forests. Upon entering the scenic area, a group of exquisite, clear crystal ponds will immediately catch your eyes with their unparalleled charm. Erdao Lake and Zhaga Waterfall are the main highlights at Huanglong. Eardao Lake is the largest in the area whose colors vary with the seasons. Zhaga Waterfall is the largest calcified waterfall in China, stretching for 3 miles.
| | Day 7 Huanglong – Chengdu – Mt. Emei (B / L / D) | top | Board a morning flight to Chengdu. Upon your arrival, continue to visit Leshan and its Giant Buddha. Construction on the Giant Buddha began in 713 in the Tang Dynasty and was completed 90 years later in 803. During this time, thousands of workers expended their efforts on the project, creating the largest carved stone Buddha in the world. The solemn stillness of Buddha has been beautifully captured, with its symmetrical posture. A cruise along the river will give you a different view of the statue. Continue to Mt. Emei in the late afternoon.
| | Day 8 Mt. Emei (B / L / D) | top | Today is dedicated to the scenic areas of Mt. Emei. Take a cable car to the Golden Summit, the main peak of the mountain, towering at 10,103 feet. Surrounded by clouds, the mountain peak gives a feeling as if you are amongst the gods in heaven. Visit Huazang Temple at the Golden Summit before descending to the middle of the mountain, visiting Wannian Temple. The last scenic spot of Mt. Emei is at Baoguo Temple, located at the foot of the mountain.
| | Day 9 Mt. Emei – Chengdu (B / L / D) | top | Return to Chengdu by coach. Upon arriving back into the city, a visit to the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center. The center has created a natural habitat for the pandas to facilitate their breeding of these endangered species. Continue to the Wangjiang Tower Park, located along the south bank of the Jinjiang river. Considered one of the three cultural relics of the city, the Wangjiang Tower is dedicated to poet Xue Tao of the Tang Dynasty, a clever and innovative woman who was greatly admired by her contemporaries. Take a leisurely stroll along Jinli Street, called the “first street of the Shu Kingdom (221-263). The ancient street is flanked on both sides with buildings of Chinese traditional style, now occupied by cafes, curio shops, and snack shops. Enjoy a Sichuan Opera this evening, featuring the Changing Faces performance.
| | Day 10 Chengdu – Los Angeles (B) | top | The morning is free for you to do some last minute shopping. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight home or continue your tour with one of our popular optional extensions.
