| Day 1 Los Angeles – Bangkok | top | Board your transpacific flight for Bangkok.

| | Day 3 Bangkok (D) | top | Arrive into Bangkok in the late morning. Airport meet and greet by your local representative. Transfer to the hotel to check in. The balance of the day has been left free for you to relax and get acclimated to the time change. Tonight's entertainment features a traditional Thai classical dance and dinner.
| | Day 4 Bangkok (B / L / D) | top | Embark on a morning tour of the klongs or waterways of the Chao Phraya river in a long-tail boat. The boat speeds you through the narrow canals, passing by stilt houses that line the banks. Your first excursion is at the Museum of Royal Barges. The royal barges stored here are reserved for auspicious ceremonies and state occasions, each carved from large pieces of teak, gilded in gold and intricately decorated with shimmering pieces of glass. Continue to visit Wat Arun, commonly called the Temple of Dawn. Wat Arun is considered one of the most outstanding temples in Thailand, with a beautifully decorated spire towering at over 70 meters high. Return to the pier to disembark. Continue your Bangkok city tour by coach, visiting Wat Suthat, one of the oldest and largest temples in the city, renowned for its majestic roofline and large golden Buddha. Tour the Reclining Buddha at Wat Po. The afternoon is spent at the Grand Palace, the seat of the king and his court, as well the government administration.
| | Day 5 Bangkok – Ayuthaya (B / L / D) | top | Depart for Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand for 417 years. The remaining ruins of the temple complex displays an interesting mix of Khmer and Sukhothai architectural styles. First visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, blending Thai, Chinese, and European architectural styles. Next visit Wat Yai chai Mongkhon, a monastery built in 1900 by King Uthong. His purpose was to create a center of Buddhist studies. Wat Chaiwattanaram, located on the bank of the Maenam Chao Phraya, was built by King Prasat Thong to honor his mother. The construction of the temple replicates that of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Board the Pearl of Siam cruiser at the Wat Chonglom pier to return to Bangkok by boat. A buffet lunch is served on board while you relax and enjoy the countryside scenery as your cruiser makes its way back to the city. This evening, visit the local night market.
| | Day 6 Bangkok – Kuala Lumpur (B / D) | top | Board a flight for Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. Upon your arrival, transfer to the hotel to check in. Enjoy some time to relax before tonight's cultural night tour that begins at the colorful night market in Chinatown. Visit a local Indian temple with a long history called Mahamariamman. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant followed by a Malay cultural performance.
| | Day 7 Kuala Lumpur – Batu Caves – Genting Highlands (B / L) | top | Depart for the Batu Caves, the most famous cave landmark of Kuala Lumpur. The cave is considered a religious site for the Hindus. Ascend the 272 steps to reach the top, admiring the limestone formations and devout pilgrims paying their respects to the shrines. A visit to the Malaysian Batik Cottage demonstrates the art of fine silk production. Depart for the Genting Highlands after lunch. The rest of the afternoon is left free for you to relax at the hotel.
| | Day 8 Genting Highlands – Malacca (B / L) | top | Depart for the historical town of Malacca, filled with sites of heritage buildings and ancient landmarks. St. Peter's Church, built in 1710, is the country's oldest church that is still in use today. Proceed to the famous gateway of Porta de Santiago and the ruins of St. Paul's Church that is lined with 17th century Dutch tombstones. After lunch, visit Cheong Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest active temple in the country. Finally, take a stroll along Jonker Street, a heritage street lined with shops and restaurants then continue to the banks of the Malacca River.
| | Day 9 Malacca – Johor Bahru – Singapore (B / L) | top | Travel to Johor Bahru, visiting the Sultan Ibrahim Building, Island Besar, Royal Sultan Abu Bakar Museum and the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque. Continue to the Singapore border where you will be met by the local Singaporean guide. Continue to Singapore, arriving in the early afternoon. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the evening is left for you to explore the city.

Begin at one of the oldest Chinese temples in Singapore, Thian Hock Keng Temple. The unique wooden structure is decorated with intricate carvings. Discover and trace the journey, beliefs and myths of early Chinese immigrants at the Chinatown Heritage Center. Enhance your understanding of the practice of Islam at the Sultan Mosque. Visit vibrant Arab Street, with stores specializing in sarongs, rattan baskets and brass.
